电影在结尾处“解释”了张彻初期规定姜大卫十分钟只能笑一次的原因，因为如果都如《游侠》一般，我们也许可以再多一个踩香蕉皮的，但少了一个阿尊。《游侠》只是一部三流电影，李连杰也不用奇怪为何内地不肯引进这部电影，因为它实在太普通了，即使他的表演很卖力，可他无法改变电影整体低下的水平。《游侠》在任何时候看来，都是一部烂片。

打斗场面的处理都很精彩，只是还不过瘾。JasonStatham和李连杰都曾与元奎共事，两个打星在一起，场面应该激烈，可影片却仅仅在部分段落中展现了JasonStatham的身手，而李连杰与之的对打，也就只有片尾的那几分钟，不过瘾。
